Product:        Wacom PenPartner running under Windows 95

Subject:        Problem using Wacom PenPartner drivers version 2.50 and SCSI devices in Windows 95

Date:            22 April 1998

FAULT

Having installed the PenPartner and its drivers you may no longer see SCSI devices (ie scanners)

N.B. This is a Wacom driver problem and is not related to Satori in any way

SOLUTION

Please follow the procedure below

1.        Locate the file "wacom.vxd" found under c:\windows\system

2.        Rename "wacom.vxd" as "wacomvxd.old"

3.        Locate the file "scsi.fix" found on the PenPartner CD Rom under \win\patch.

4.        Copy "scsi.fix" to c:\windows\system

5.        Locate the file "scsi.fix" found under c:\windows\system and rename it as "wacom.vxd"

6.        Shut down the computer

N.B. "scsi.fix" can only be used with Windows 95.
