FAULT

We have received reports from some users experiencing problems when opening Satori PSD files in other packages.

Photoshop 5 reports "Could not open the document because an unexpected end-of-line was encountered".
Painter 5 will load Satori PSDs but they are corrupt.

These reported faults have been investigated and a PSD saving fault has been identified that applies to all versions of Satori 3.02. Under certain conditions, it is possible to save a PSD file that many not import correctly.

SOLUTION

It is important that work is saved (as recommended) using Canvas files. This will ensure that any work exported in PSD can be re-saved in any other supported format should this be required.

Patch Update - A patch update will be released shortly to rectify this and some other post-release reported faults.
